Toolkit Sessions

Presentations focused on business tools available to Chamber members, including affinity programs.

Monthly Membership Luncheon

Monthly membership luncheons exploring topics and business trends important to the economic climate of the South Sound region. These include Chamber’s annual Community Impact luncheons: State of the City, State of Education, State of the Chamber and the Candidates Forum. Luncheon Display Tables are available and include lunch.

Breakfast Briefings

New in 2016-17! Morning meeting addressing local and regional projects and initiatives. Briefings are currently scheduled quarterly.

Workshops and Seminars

Informational sessions are scheduled throughout the year and focus on improving skills and sharing knowledge to help make your business more successful. Topics are developed in series of four sessions.

Regional Prosperity Forum winter/February

An annual economic development event with keynote on topic of impact for the South Sound region.  The Business of Baseball will be explored at the 2016 Regional Prosperity Dinner.

Annual Summit spring/May

With a focus that changes from year to year, the Summit may include interactive sessions, keynote speakers, and more.  For 2016, the Chamber will host a Women’s Summit.

Golf Classic – summer/July

A fun day on the links followed by dinner and awards. Not a golfer? Join us for other activities throughout the day.

Gala and Impact Awards- fall/November

This annual dinner event celebrates Chamber membership and recognizes leadership with the Impact Awards.

Coffee & Connections

Quarterly morning networking event of the Chamber. Meet and get to know business leaders that make up our Chamber. Held in the training room of Federal Way’s  international coffee roaster, Cafe D’Arte.

Member Orientations

Quarterly event designed for all members as a “how-to” session to acquaint members with the tools, benefits, and strategic initiatives of the Chamber. Held quarterly.

The Chamber rolled out a new series, Breakfast Briefings, with a session on Transportation that focused on the long-range plans of Sound Transit and King County Metro. Breakfast Briefings will highlight local initiatives and civic projects in the greater Federal Way area. Transportation was a natural topic to kick-off this new program series as it remains critical to the business community and a top issue for the Chamber,” said Board Chair Dr. Lisa Skari of Highline College. “Connecting our workforce to east-west employment opportunities and business possibilities along the north-south corridor ensures that Federal Way remains economically viable.”
